Claire Wallace

Claire is a Grand Prix dressage rider based near Rockhampton, Central Qld and operates Lexington Farm Dressage.

Liaison her first Grand Prix horse was also in the top 7 at DWTS as a 5yr and 6yr, he was the 3rd in the National Grand Prix class at the Australian Dressage Championships. Also on the Qld State Dressage Squad for 7 years winning many championships at all levels. The next Grand Prix horse, Lincoln Lord Astor placed 3rd in the Medium Tour at the Syd CDI and then 6th in the National Grand Prix class at the following Syd CDI. He was Reserve Champion BIg Tour horse at the 2017 Qld State Championships. also winning Champion Regional Big Tour horse 2 years  running. Asti won many championships at every level.

She is the first rider to ever produce a Grand Prix horse in Central QLD.  Claire is now aiming to produce her 3rd with the Furstenball mare, WW Furst Dance. Known as Marple, this mare has exceptional talent and has also won many regional championships as well as placing 3rd in Qld State YH championship as a 6yr old.

With a solid string of young horses coming through, all started from yearlings at Lexington Farm, Claire is looking forward to developing these young horses through the levels.

As the horses develop from 4yrs to FEI athletes, Claire recognises the importance of correctly fitting saddles that allow the horses shoulder to move freely and show their best paces. This is why Claire is super excited to work with Peter Horobin Saddlery with the support of saddle fitter Terry Sakai. Riders in CQld do not have regular access to coaches or industry support people. So the continual support from Terry is very valuable and is certainly one of the reasons Claire has chosen to ride in a PHS saddle , The Stride Free Elite.

Claire is looking forward to a bright and successful partnership with Peter Horobin Saddlery and is super appreciative of the on going support from Terry Sakai.
